SGIPS International Karate Champions
The karate kids of SGIPS made us proud by becoming the overall Champions of 2 ndShimoga International Championship -2019. A total of 4500 students participated in the tournament from various countries such as Srilanka,Nepal,Bhutan,Malaysia , Bangladesh as well as from different parts of our country.The tournament took place on 24th& 25th August , at Nehru Indoor Stadium ,Shimoga .
The team from SGIPS exhibited excellent talent and won the highest prize. The coach Master Satvik who is National Athlete Commission member – India , has been training the students in the martial sport at the school.
The Championship trophy was awarded by the Member of Parliament Shri. Ragavendraji. The students have added a feather in the winning cap of SGIPS.
