Introducing the Nursery tiny tots to the mesmerizing realm of colours was something that SGIPS facilitators were looking forward to. The Red Day was celebrated on 11 th July,2019.
The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright lively and cheerful.
Red colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with a special assembly which was conducted by the nursery children. Shloka was recited by Master Supreeth, followed by the thought for the day by Master Dhanwik.
A cute rhyme on red was recited by Master Nischal Prasad followed by a beautiful dance by Miss Kriti and team on a song which described the beauty of the colour red.
Children had fun time doing indoor activities based on the colour red .
They enjoyed making dots on the bright red beetle cut out and had fun time in the group activity.
The celebration was a wonderful learning experience which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours , thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.
